Kadee is a therapist who offers warmth, empathy, insight, and practical strategies for each of her clients. She has a passion for helping those who are trying to find peace in their relationship with food and build a kinder relationship with their body. Kadee has experience working with individuals throughout the disordered eating spectrum, including those who are ready to stop the dieting cycle, people looking to improve body image, and individuals with diagnosed eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, and OSFED). She is able to help individuals grow in anxiety management, assertive communication, and self-compassion.
Kadee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She has more than 15 years of experience working in inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment for people healing from eating disorders.
Kadee is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She offers this as an optional intervention to reduce the emotional impact of past trauma and current negative core beliefs. She is able to offer counseling from a Christian perspective for individuals who would like to include this in their therapy. Kadee welcomes and affirms members of the LGBTQ+ community.
